January 23, 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Keyishian v. Board of Regents, perhaps the most important case defending academic freedom in the history of law (see the essay by Marjorie Heins today about the case).

Here is something to consider. Ignorance is not bliss. Education is under the gun of the elite. In case you did not know, public schools and teacher unions have no say in curriculum or teaching methods. Both are outside the scope of collective bargaining, and mandated by government committees.
Educate yourselves. Do your own research. Make your own sense of it all.
